Carla Coffey, FNP-BC

Carla Coffey FNP-BC is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in orthopaedics, spine, and occupational medicine. She has extensive knowledge in treating knee, shoulder, arm, leg, and back pain. She routinely evaluates and treats acute injuries and fractures. She is a respected member of the orthopaedic team and a direct liaison between the patients and the physicians. Carla is often the first member of the team to evaluate a patient, order any necessary studies, and initiate their care and she is an expert in performing joint injections. She is trained in identifying and preparing patients for epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and facet blocks as well as all orthopaedic issues.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at King University and her Master of Science in Nursing at East Tennessee State University with Distinction. Carla also holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication from University of Michigan and an MBA from Baker College. She is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is a current member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Carla has a wide range of experience including surgery, ER, and Critical/Intensive Care. Carla enjoys each patient she meets and the opportunity to serve friends and family in the Morristown and surrounding area.
