Dr. Christopher, M.D. is an Orthopedic surgeon who has been active in his profession since 1997.  He was board certified and became a diplomat of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons in 2000.  He specializes in treating many different conditions effecting the musculoskeletal system.  He has extensive experience in treatment of the knee, hip, shoulder, and hand.  He has performed numerous joint replacements, arthroscopies, and other procedures.     

Dr. Christopher attended medical school at the Medical College of Virginia.  After a 1 year surgical internship in the U.S. Army, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency  at the Medical College of Virginia.  He then served as an orthopedic surgeon in the U.S. Army from 1997-2000.  Originally recruited to work in Knoxville, he and his family chose to settle in Morristown and began practicing there, in 2000.   Dr. Christopher has championed bringing the latest orthopedic technologies to the East Tennessee region to include computer assisted joint replacements and minimally invasive surgery.  Dr. Christopher has staff privileges at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare Systems (Covenant), Lakeway Regional Hospital (Tennova), and Jefferson Memorial Hospital (Tennova).
